Mr. Bowersox is a founding member of the firm. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia, in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and in the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Mr. Bowersox graduated cum laude from the District of Columbia School of Law in Washington, D.C. in 1995 and was on the school's Law Review. Mr. Bowersox received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Virginia in 1986.

Mr. Bowersox has been working in the field of intellectual property law since 1987 and has litigated patent and trademark lawsuits in many different jurisdictions. Mr. Bowersox has represented clients from start to finish in litigation before the International Trade Commission. He enjoys all facets of intellectual property law, spending most of his time dealing with patent prosecution, freedom-to-operate investigations and advising clients in a wide range of intellectual property matters involving high-level technologies.

Mr. Bowersox is a member of the American Bar Association and of the ABA Intellectual Property Law Section.

Mr. Bowersox enjoys spending time with his family, coaching soccer, playing guitar and drums, fishing, boating, water sports, air hockey and ping-pong.
